Here's my better half from Sunday.  Also a scrap yard I found waiting for a new windscreen... too much detail, too little tonal difference. I had a few spectators at different points which didn't bother me surprisingly. First time this has happened.
Nice sketching from life Owen. I must ask…is your avatar from when you were a schoolboy? I remember boys being told in assembly - don’t cross the road with your parka hood up! Dangerous!😆

Marjorie... I wish! He's my 17 yr old 6ft son. I come up to his armpit😞
Ha ha- love it!
Angela "Puzzles whether or not to start another one unless I can erase the vertical zigzags?" Try erasing. If it doesn't work, who cares? The great thing about sketches are that they are free... free to experiment, free to change bits, free to play. They're for us to work things out ahead of the 'pretty picture ' that we show to our audience. Failures are great opportunities for practising how to rescue pieces.
Ink and watercolour sketch. I put the ink on with a cut down cotton bud. The sketch only took a few minutes, done as I was waiting for parts of a larger painting to dry.
Oooh nice Denise.
Yes, agree with Sylvia. It has a Chinese painting feel to it.
There's mileage in that technique Denise 🤔

Here's my quickie before bed. Night all
Mmmmm sorry Owen, had to put my specs on to see it.   I assume you have two pairs?
Sylvia, I award you honorary membership of the 'Dad Joke Fellowship'. Three groans for Sylvia! Hip hip ohhhh... 🤗
