Good balance in the poses.
Cheers Marjorie. It's fun getting the major things down before they move and definitely no chance of erasing.
Two Ink sketches, using old fountain pen. The first one is with Watermans ink the second with Parkers,
My, these are good! The volumes and planes you create in the first are brilliant. The first one has very feint quarter lines. Are these guides or just leftover from something else?
The faint pencil lines on the first one are indeed guide  lines Owen. The sketch was A3 size and a painting I did from it was also A3 and to make sure I got things in the right place for the painting I divided the sketch lightly as you suggested into Quarters.
Very detailed sketches, Owen and George, and easy on the eye.
Very nice figure sketches Owen. Lovely scenes George. I'm doing a loose sketch of a street I walk up and down occasionally. I think they were built as factories or warehouse storage. Now converted to living space. It's a quiet place with a curvature on the road. It feels like the buildings will topple on you as you stroll through. I'm just laying some colour down and shaping the windows up.
Thanks Denise, very kind. Your sketch reminds me of a Rob Pointon scene. George, oh I see now. I had it the wrong way around, thinking they were guides for drawing the sketch.
And more waiting rooms
Sorry.....my usual silly eyes and fat fingers....
