Hi Karen, nice sketch I like the reflections you have achieved not easy in a sketch, what medium did you use as a mater of interest?
Thank you Gillian. I used watercolour crayons but without water.
I did another one today; this time Castle Meadows in Abergavenny from a photo that I took in May. Hopefully, I will use the sketches to help me produce a couple of paintings.... one of these days!
Lovely sketches Karen.
Thank you Denise.
How lovely Karen. Did this yesterday are ma part of my extended family left....the cleaning can wait. I two years ago I planted a packet of seeds... they are now about twelve feet high , huge blooms and leaves.  They are an ornamental Artichoke...though could be a Triffid. Inktense on A3 paper.

Thank you Sylvia. That is a beautiful drawing; I love the colours produced by the Intense; really good. I saw some of these plants in Cowbridge Physic Garden recently; they really are dramatic!
Lovely pictures Sylvia and Karen! Pen and wash from me today
I started this pencil sketch then carried it on in charcoal. I didn't plan to spend a couple of hours on it but it just developed as I went on.
Quite gothic Denise!
I decided I'm going to do a painting of it, I'm just practising body proportions and poses. It's nothing I can grid up because it's from imagination. I drew a line and divided it into eight to get my body proportions. I'll be practising for the rest of the evening. This was just a start to see if I was on the right track.
That’s a really good sketch to start with Denise.
