While we're here - a question: does anyone know what those clasps, the closing mechanism, on Gillian's pochade box are called?  I've broken one on mine, and have got lost in catalogues of hinges, clasps, dimensions but most of all proper names.  Anyone? As an offering, I don't often show sketches but quite liked this one in black oil pastel on w/colour paper, with a wash of acrylic Burnt Sienna.

You little treasures!  I shall seek them out, and find my screwdriver.
My sketch today, which I went on to paint afterwards. Not tried a warthog before so need to get a bit of practice. I started with the head, then realised, it was far to low down, so I just put the body around it. Next time I draw one, I'll know and have a much better idea of how to draw it.
I drew a warthog, and sent it as a birthday card to my father!   We were never really close............
It’s a very nice warthog , poor much maligned creatures.
I bet your father laughed, when he got it Robert. I do like them Paul. They have a bit of a character about them.
I do like warthogs .  I met one socially in Kenya and he enjoyed having his ears scratched. .
What a treat, Sylvia and a special memory to have.
It was and is Denise.
