Well here we are in April!! I have been working on the sunset. Quite tricky but I can see where it’s going after laying down some paint! Maybe get a sketch done later . Like your ladies that lunch Bari, there’s a lovely simplicity to it which I love

Love the Sunset and the plant Gillian .  A fifteen minute sketch using b3 and b8 graphite sticks and a blending stick from a old photo.

Your painting is coming along nicely Gillian and that's a great sketch Paul. I've been painting the past couple of days and Pip goes for his stitches out at the Vet on Wednesday. I will be able to relax then and get more time to do some sketching.

We had a very cold day out at Warwick Races last week and I did a couple of quick sketches of people inside in the betting area, and of a couple at one of the food vans. My daughter said you should only go racing in July or August! More civilised then.
