Lovely sketches from you all. I haven’t been creative the past couple of days. This is a quick sketch of some guy on a news programme I was watching last night
Sketch whilst watching this fella on TV tonight

Quick sketch using intense pencils and tinted charcoal pans. I also have poorly dog who today managed to injure her second rear leg so struggling to walk so having X-rays under sedation tomorrow very worrying. 😢
I hope your dog will be ok Gillian, It's so distressing seeing your pal injured or sick. That's a really good sketch. I've been out today, sketching and taking some photos with my new camera. I did a few sketches in the Cathedral, it's so immense, inside, you could never sketch it all in 30 years. The light is very dim in there. I'll me popping in and out from now on with a sketch book.
Hope the dog is ok Gillan , nice sketch. Two good sketches Denise and can imagine you doing one as a painting with all those high vaulted ceiling’s etc .
Nice bold sketches Denice.  They have given me a nudge towards going into our magnificent cathedral in Kirkwall to have a go so watch this space! Pooch now home feeling sorry for herself ( quite rightly!) she has indeed ruptured. Cruciate ligaments  in her right knee ( having ruptured them in left leg 3 months ago so we are back to rest.
Lovely sketches girls!  Sorry to hear about another poorly pooch.  Very brave going into a cathedral, armed with sketch pad.  Where do you start?  I think it would be easier from memory.  Which cathedral are you attempting .Denise?
Hope your dog recovers soon Gillian. Linda, it's the Anglican Cathedral, Liverpool. I'll take my pastels into the Catholic Cathedral because you get a lot of light in there and it shines through the stained glass and it's like a rainbow inside, when the sun shines that is.
Very fat fingers.

Quick sketch to make a gift tag! Not been doing much in the way of sketching as busy painting.
That's a smashing tag, Gillian.
