Nice sketch Gillian and Linda the leaves look perfect.
I’m a few days behind but some super work done, face masks, pram street scene, trees and leaves, apologies if I missed anything out! Today at art group I’ve made a start on a cat portrait for my friends daughter. I expect it will be watercolour.
Nice cat Katy, should make a good painting. I didn’t get to art group today but did this sketch of an overgrown gate I passed the other day, obviously not used for years!
Thanks Tessa. Love the gate and the stone wall.
I like the cat and the overgrown gate is lovely. I was brave tonight and did my first face ever. I don't know what to think, faces are very difficult but I am enjoying the sketching very much.
Lots of character Denise, well done! In my book that’s more interesting than a photographic painting.
Gosh Denise you really are extremely talented, the portrait is great for a first! Full of character. Katy, the cat Is lovely it will be great to see him in all his glory! Like the old overgrown gate Tessa, right up my street! I really haven’t been very active this month, but once I get back to UK next week I will have two weeks of quarantine so PLENTY of time to kill sketching! Will maybe post something later today!
Some excellent work done over the last few weeks, I have been looking in but have not done any sketches. Went to a very old fruit and veg shop today, in the corner was a old sack trolley with a sack on it.  The shop owner said it belonged to his great grandfather who ran a shop many years ago, and he the followed in the trade years later. Certainly knew his stuff about veg and fruit. Here is my image, done from memory at home.
I like the old sack truck Dixie, we have one in our garden, not sure why but we do! Denise your first face is full of character, looks like Picasso? I’ve been doodling faces this evening, but this is the best of them, which may not say much!
Nice portrait Tessa, I’m not that good with portraits but to like figure painting. A very quick watercolour and pencil sketch took about 15 mins, might develop it more, the veg etc.
Good one Dixie, and a change of subject for you?  I was just starting to sketch our spaniel when she jumped up and trotted off, so head only!
Paul and Tessa, you are both on a roll with some good sketching. Nothing from me for a while, I’ll get back to it I’m sure!
