Thank you ladies for appreciating my thingumybob! The river/stream running by it is rarely more than about 8” deep but we like to be cautious.🤔

That's a good start Gill.  Is it onOrkney ? Some of you might know I acquired two little black hens about two weeks ago.  My son had fallen out of love with them. Florence and May two old family names  better than Nugget and Licken.   So far I have bought them  a hen  house , put them in a big run with posts and wire , paid for all sorts of chicken food. Got up early to check them ,clean them have a conservation....no eggs , no eggs , no bloody eggs....then today one started an unusual cluck...and yay.....an egg , just one and very expensive.  Tesco much better price.  Anyhow have sketched it for posterity . Inktense pencil but have not used water on it. A5. My Miracle egg.....oh I have eaten it.

Hope it tasted good Sylvia! Yes the lighthouse is on Graemsay it’s  Hoy Sound High . There is a Hoy Sound Low at the other end of the island
