Welcome Bari, great sketches . I started a journal with the plan to do a sketch a day in it but not managed to get into it. Must push myself! Anyway a quick sketch using inktense pencils and a water brush.
Nice barge and some lovely flowers , I have been a bit lazy I’ve not sketch fir a few day , attached is the layout drawing fir a watercolour I’m about to start .
Lot of detail in that Paul!
Some really great sketches just lately.  I haven’t managed to do any recently as getting ready to move house and so reluctantly have had to pack my art materials away.  I have kept a sketch book back and hope to find some time soon to contribute again.
Looks a great sketch Dixie, will look forward to how this turns out. Lets hope you have a great move Hillary. Not forgetting your lovely crocus Gillian. My offering today is of the llangollen Via duct, I hope th paint a version of the sketch.

Sketching is looking good 👍 I'm just back from a 5.5ml walk along the Mersey path ,did the sketch while having lunch looking back at the 3 bridge's Mersey crossing at Widnes.
Is that the old transporter I see there Bari.?with the new bridge in the foreground.  ?  Alan  it’s usually known as the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct  it is almost   on my doorstep well fifteen miles away.  It’s wonderful and you have done it proud.

Sorry Silvia, I forgot it’s proper name. I shall be posting a few more from the area soon.
Sylvia..the 3 bridge's are the old railway bridge in the front the arched bridge is the road bridge that replaced the transporter and the far bridge is the all new Mersey gateway. This is one of my early pen and inks of the Transporter..
Brilliant Bari  I had a boyfriend with an open top sports car...red of course.  He lived in Widnes .the transformer was crusted with rust.  We used to sit there as it swayed across in those containers  ,we got completly showered in the red rust.  Great drawing. Thank you .
