Gillian I like your boat study, and Denise I like todo tonal pictures, or even monochrome, as the are a great aid, for showing you if you have enough strength in your darks. mine today are some Hellebore.
Beautiful flowers Alan!
Fab flowers.
Great flowers Alan, I commented on the gallery. Here is one of my sketches today. My computer has locked me out so I'm having to do everything on my phone today.
I think you have really captured the way that tank runs over everything.  It looks "alive" and I hope you are going to do a full painting of it.
Thanks Steve, I'm doing a few tank sketches at the moment, trying to get the proportions right. This might be one I go on to paint.
Another tank sketch this evening, out of proportion but I'm enjoying the practice.
Nice floral painting Alan , Denise you are really good at sketching tanks both look great. From me a water soluble pencil sketch of a skull . Haven’t used water soluble pencils for ages , having seen the excellent sketch in the gallery I thought it time to have another session . I used some cheap watercolour paper, mistake needs a smooth finish ui think .
That’s a new subject from you Paul,! Denise your subjects are really diverse and I love how you tackle them! I am not feeling my best artistically at the moment but I need to get my mojo back somehow! Will have a go tomorrow.....
Another soluble pencil sketch.  It’s ages since I used them but I’m liking them again I did use a water soluble graphite stick in the darker areas
Nice skulls Paul. I do like them they are great to draw.  This one I found decorating a fence on my daily walk.  He now has pride of place .
Thank you Sylvia , thats a fine looking skull all I ever find on my walks is discarded litter. I do have a very lovely set of antlers ( well not on me ) given to make walking stick but they are too nice to break up.
