Have been a tad busy so not seen the forum for a few days .  Some really lovely work on here from everyone.  Alan glad you have discovered Inktense pencils especially for flowers.
I joined an art group yesterday…. Feel I need to get out and about and meet other people! One of the chaps there set up a still life for people to do(others got on with their own stuff), so here is my sketch of the still life. I used some aqua marker pens (haven’t used them before). They have a fine nib and a brush nib, and you can (apparently) also use them with water… but the water addition wasn’t successful for me!
A superb sketch Helen .
Have you been in my green house over night?   Super sketch Helen..
Super sketch Helen. I haven't done much the last few weeks and I missed the dead line for TALP. Some of you will know I've been supporting my daughter, who's partner has been very ill. He passed away yesterday afternoon. I will carry on supporting her as that's what we do when we love our children.
They don't call this the Vale of Tears for nothing, do they?  Best wishes to you and your family.
Tis life, Robert. No one wants it but it's the natural order of things. Thanks.
Condolences to you and your daughter Denise - some things rightly take precedence in sad times like this. All my best wishes.

Denise, although we on the site know you only by your work, your words and your profile picture, and don't know your daughter at all, it doesn't mean that we can't feel for you both in these sad circumstances.  As you say 'tis life, an awful event for those left behind and when it is some-one close, not something you get over, or something you want to get over.  But it is something that you do learn to live with it, thankfully.  My sympathies are with you and your daughter and I look forward to you posting more in the future,
Deepest sympathies Denise.  An awful thing to happen.
Sending sincerest condolences to you and your daughter, Denise. Times like this are emotional and hard, and I’m sure your daughter is very grateful for your support. Take care both and look forward to seeing your work on the gallery again.
