Those are great examples, Paul, there’s so much interesting work to choose from.
Some terrific images folks, and a joy to see them all. I’ve looked this morning and picked these out. I love his compositions. I feel I can see the influence on the work of Alan B and Jenny in Nash’s work. Am I right?

What a wonderful artist Jenny, I really like his War art pieces. His style of painting is very pleasing. I have really enjoyed those already posted and will have a good look at his work and post some myself.
Superb selection of his work here, I remember looking at his WW1 paintings as a young boy and realising even then how powerful the imagery was.'Gassed' by John Singer Sargent is another extremely dramatic and graphic painting that sadly seems all too relevant today.
Tessa, no, not for me at least, although I do love the style of his botanical wood engravings, but have only just discovered them.  Could be an inspiration for future lino cuts.

I though the wood engravings very encouraging, I have an itch now to get out the engraving kit and do some such a long time since I last did any .  They have a similar look when the back of the glass is black , mmm food for though ,might even give the Welsh slate a go as well.
I haven’t done Lino cuts since school days. I do like the effect very much though, and the engravings-very effective.
Just had a look at his brother Paul Nash ,  his paintings just as impressive and similar in style .
I often get confused between the two! This is a well known painting by Paul Nash ‘Wood on the Downs’ Tate Britain. A similar composition to one of Hockney’s, from his ‘A Bigger Picture’ exhibition in 2006 at the RA. Perhaps he was influenced by him!

I can see why you could get confused Alan I certainly did as I thought I was looking at John’s work at first . Apparently it was Paul who persuaded John to take up art insisted of botany, both are excellent artists and their war artist work is superb.
Yes, a lot of their work is very similar, although John’s work overall seems softer with warmer colours (another below) and of the two I prefer his work.  (Paul, you could perhaps choose Paul Nash for another week if you wanted to look more closely at his work.  Eric Ravilious is also well worth adding to your list.)

I had though of adding Paul Nash another time I will put both him and Eric Raviliouse on the list , thanks Jenny, can I put you name as suggesting  both ?.
