This weeks choices come from Sylvia and Paul
Sylvia’s choice is known I think to a lot of POL members, Adebanji Alade.
Paul’s choice ( I will use Dixie in future to save confusion) Frank Scarborough..
I hope you enjoy our third week and most importantly enjoy the choices .

Thank you Paul….hope I don’t do what you have just done…..lol. Sorry.
Adebanji Alade I first noticed here on Pol on the gallery. He posted his sketches mainly portraits ,they are still here if you look.
It I was the confidence and immediacy that I saw and looked forward to his postings. He is known as the Addictive Sketcher . His on site work in London and other venues capture a sense of place .
They are full of colour and life . Enjoy .

My apologies to Adebanji for the incorrect spelling of his name. His portraits are amazing and a delight to look at but for me me the street scenes are so beautiful painting, particularly the one with wet pavements . The figure are superbly done as are the buildings etc. i have included one of a beach scene that I like a lot.

I've edited the topic heading to correct Adebanji's name.
He's a remarkable plein-air painter, whom some of us who remember his early work recognize as one of our own, because he used to show his paintings and drawings on the Gallery. He's good INSIDE the studio, as well - I emphasize plein-air because he's got a fearless character, sketching people on buses and trains, which I'd never dare do, pitching his easel on pavements in busy streets.
