Welcome to the last of this years bonus artist this weekend I’m featuring, Karl Terry RSMA, who is a prolific plain air oil painter based in Kent. His inspiration comes drawn from the wealth of coastal landscape, he captures every changing in the different seasons and weather conditions. Karl produces both landscape and cityscapes and his work is a response to what he sees at that moment.  I hope you enjoy my selection of his painting . Have a good weekend and New Years Eve, Happy New Year to you all.
Good choice, and an inspiring one - making my painting fingers itch. I have another suggestion for you, if you're not swamped by possibilities already - Andrew Barrowman, a Cornish artist.
Never swamped and more than happy to add names to the list Robert . It will be several weeks before your choice is featured would you do the introduction, I will remind you before it due to give you time to get the information together.
Karl Terry’s third one down especially, those gorgeous blue shadows! I like his coastal/beach scenes…they remind me of the beaches where I live. Thanks for managing to include him Paul.

Makes it worthwhile posting artist when someone enjoys their work Marjorie. He is a artist that I knew nothing about until a couple of weeks ago, but was taken with his paintings from the start.
I’ve long admired his plein air paintings. He’s an active member of the prestigious Wapping Group of Artists - He used to post regularly on the gallery, but I haven’t seen any work posted for a good few years now…
Love his style of painting, and I'm always appreciative of artists who work mainly en plein air. Particularly like the one above posted by Alan.
Third one down does it for me too. Quite magnificent. Obviously a man who knows his way around a palette.
I recognised the name, probably from having seen his work on the gallery in the past, although, as Alan has said, he hasn’t posted anything for a few years.  I particularly like Paul’s fifth choice down, Hawthorn Blossom, also this one.
