There are feeling pouring out of that excellent painting George , I suspect its painted with a lot of feelings,  hence its so emotional.

Thank you for your very perceptive comments. Ive had or lived with dogs all my 85 years and all were good animals, but none as attentive, obedient, and friendly as Jess. She was my girl and she new it. Her unframed painting is pinned to my wall, I could never restrict her in a frame. She died 24 years ago but my memories of her are as fresh today as always.

Lovely idea Paul, and what interesting paintings and descriptions. Only just come back, will add one that I did some years ago when I feel I was doing better than I am now. It is hanging in our community room, some of the others in my retirement village liked it and wanted it there.
