An amazing painting Andrew - we went on the Maid of the Mist too. Is that the university? Excellent pen work as usual from you Lewis, lovely painting from Alan, Paul’s elephant is really good and Russell’s is an example of his excellent work to come.

Marjorie Firth on 23/07/2025 16:30:23 Marjorie, I don't believe its the University, it was in the financial district . The building on the left is the Bank of Montreal, but unsure what's being reflected.
Here is something that hasn’t seen the light of day for ages , I started this as a story with my then five year old granddaughter who is now nearly thirteen. Don’t remember why it was just put aside , I see it every so often and think mmm might get around to it one day . The initial sketch and where it was abandoned.
I will add  my last one to this thread , think I’ve hogged it anyway.  I enjoy this painting as it  is taken from one of the photos I took when I was working as a Ranger , it’s the Bridleway on Pulpit Hill ,I spent fifteen years working there as a volunteer Ranger .  Since leaving most of it has been felled due to Ash dieback and other issues , I haven’t been and don’t want to as it would be upsetting to see it all gone well most of it anyway. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR OWN WORK WITH US.

One I will never let go.
I have only just seen this thread and wow some just lovely works.  I did this one many years ago  Sunday School in Tobago.   This is the only record I have and it’s a bad photo I gave it to someone and it was destroyed it made me sad,
A beauty George.  How great that you at least have a photo of the old painting Sylvia.
My all time favourite.   Another I wish I still had,, I did this sitting in the woodland. I got a good dose of Hay fever afterwards
