Well, this is a fine mess we are in. Corvid 19
Time to get creative. Bring out the paints and old photos and start painting.
I must say that I am loving the lack of pressure on my time. Of course teaching has come to a standstill (working on some videos for my students - get in touch if you want to be on the growing list of recipients) and a large commission has had to be postponed. So I find I have the time to experiment and “play with paint”. This painting in oils on canvas was inspired by John Miller’s views of estuaries in Cornwall. Its not something I would normally do, but I have to keep painting. Its quite strange to be just waiting (and keeping isolated). September seems a long way off, but we have to take one day at a time. So my painting trip to Kalymnos is still on the list and hopefully it will go ahead. Kalymnos does not have anybody with Corvid 19.
