I have been in America for the past 4 weeks so I have missed out on quite a bit.Thanks to everyone who sent me mail. I took sketching materials with me but true to form came back with nothing on paper. Lots of photos though and several taken in Stanley park Vancouver which I can't wait to have a go at. I have got a big birthday coming up on Monday (60) but still felt I was doing OK until the bus driver in Seattle offered me a senior ticket without wanting to see a pass. Still wasn't too bothered till I discovered you are only a senior from 65 on ! Whatever - apart from a few extras kilos from all the junk food I feel the trip was good although the 10 hour return flight (economy) ( complete travel time 28 hours) was awful and will not be repeated. It is nice to be back and I shall go and have a look at the paintings I have missed.
