I have been in Kent and now Surrey for the last three years, since moving back to my homeland (Yorkshire), from New Zealand for a long-term working/holiday, after an absence of 40 years, (10 pound migrants). I have been taking advantage of your near neighbours and going on trips to inspiring places like Italy, Egypt, Turkey, Europe, and the beautiful sites of the United Kingdom. The photos that I have taken, thank goodness for digital cameras, will keep me busy painting for years to come I hope. I have really enjoyed Painters-online and the interaction between artist, even though we are all at different levels of expertise, as they say we are never to old to learn, or should I say to be inspired. As I said in my first blog, this country, renewed my love of art/painting for an 'old signwriter'. Cheers!
