I am starting to get pro-active now, spurred on by the interest shown in my work. I have applied to several exhibitions and have started a calendar of deadlines. I am going to a talk tomorrow night about how artists can promote their work. It goes against my nature to blow my own trumpet, but if I want to progress I suppose I will have to bite the bullet. I've been sat in my shed for two years now and no-one has come begging to me! I haven't got enough good stuff to exhibit at all of them, but that is a problem for the future and one that I wouldn't mind having :)
