It is good to be back online with Painters Online, after residing in the UK (The home of watercolour) and learning watercolour, I have moved back to New Zealand and have started to paint in Acrylic again, I used it a lot when I was doing signwriting and design in NZ. I find it a real challenge to switch from lights to darks (watercolour) and darks to lights (acrylics/oil), the later being the easiest, I think it has something to do with my male brain, thinking on one thing at a time, but I find with watercolour that it is like a chess game, where you have to think a few moves ahead. I love the fact that I am painting again, because I want to and that it is a hobby again, after painting for $ in a business (work). Happy Painting! Cheers!, Paul.
