Have never used a blog before and am just beginning to get the hang of it but my first entry seems to have disappeared into the ether. Or may be you can all see it out there and I can't so I will repeat....... Have been reading about blogs and thought maybe there might be other people out there who really want to paint but are struggling with confusion and frustration - like me. Wonderful yesterday I drove all the way to an art workshop and barbeque afternoon organized by an art group I am thinking of joining. And upon arriving at extremely posh house I discovered that it had been cancelled. Just because of a little bit of gloom and a dodgy forecast. We all know in Britain you need a Plan B for an outdoor party.......and also it is a good idea to tell people it has been cancelled. Discovering that artists are not as hardy as walkers - we walk in all weathers and only stop for blizzards.
