Well our vernissage was great - well attended and lots of positive feedback. One picture sold there and then (not mine) but I was told that a friend of a friend who had viewed the show the day before wanted to buy one of my paintings but was "so badly-off" that she couldn't pay the asking price. Has anybody been in this position before? I am tempted to take the lower offer but only at the end of the show. Some advice please.
