I wrote about this auction in my last post. There were about 177 dontated works all postcard sized or smaller. The total raised for the Rose ward for children at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital was an amazing £27,000! I had fun watching the bidding and trying to identify who painted which. Jane Corsellis, Gerald Scarfe's I got right but Ken Howard and Quentin Blake's were a mystery. The identity of the artists was only revealed after the auction closed.
