Pilbara Landscape...Version Two Part One

Well absolute disaster Version One of the Pilbara Landscape went down the tubes...flaking paper right in front of my eyes...I had chosen the smooth side of a 300gpm Lana paper because I thought it would be better for the nib work...this is painted on a French Cotton paper with a nice tooth...now here I run into trouble because I bought three sheets on special and can't remember the name of it so if anyone can help I will be eternally grateful...a lot of the art shops here are getting rid of their more expensive lines because professional artists are doing it a bit tough over here at the moment as no doubt they are all over the world...it's a good time to buy though if you have a few penny's in the back of your purse and I'm always out for a bargain...I laid in the washes last night and did a little work on the trees in class today...for the sky over a light wash of Cobalt Blue and a Cerulean Blue Red Hue with a really strong tint over that...It's new over here but beautiful for Aussie skies...I also got Tutor to demonstrate Australian Greens for me on my paper with my paints so that I could take it home...everyone else got to watch though...it looks a bit messy at the moment but that will change with time...we have a three week break now so I feel confident enough now to finish this at home and surprise everyone at the beginning of next term...nothing was working for a while there but now I feel I'm on a roll and just stopped worrying about every mark that goes on the paper...in other words I've stopped nit picking and have managed to reach around and give myself a good kick up the backside...it's in my gallery under Course Work
