I hope everyone is looking forward to a new year of making art, looking at art and reading about art, I know I am. I run 3 classes, as well as workshops and talks to art groups, but I think I get as much out of them as the students do. Running classes ensures I keep up with new materials, various artists and making work to talk over with the students or show them techniques or media. If you are working in isolation why not join a class and find support from other people as well as a chance to share ideas and enthusiasm. There are many tutors out there running classes for Adult Learning or privately, it is just a matter of finding one which suits you, some tutors will let you attend a class free to see if it is what you are looking for, why not give it a try?
