Hello artist friends, We are back for another exciting Summer of 2010. Started off well, sold 10 prints and my painting of the Red Boat on one day. Had a couple of B&B guests over last week and May is looking busy with all the month booked for B&Bs but 4 days. I enrolled on an ecourse with Vivien Walters, love her work. Picked up some interesting tips and feedback on a four stage course, which I started in February and have nearly finished, but been busy sorting the insurance cover and setting up opening my gallery for April. The attached drawing is one that stemmed from the course and which I learned from my drawing experience of a picture I did on the course, she calls Spring Lambs, something I have to still work on. Spring Lambs was looking finished a few days ago, then I sprayed it wth a fixative and it reacted funny with the spray atomiser. It sucked up the pastel and spitted it out spotty and blobbed all over it, now got to rework the picture. So put this one on called Sheep Heads instead.
