Have been painting over the summer, never painted so much to get ready for SAA Artist of the Year, sadly disapppointed as I had got high hopes for it, painted 36, but continued to paint over the summer. I went in hospital and turned it into patient in residence with an easel and loads of canvases and paper. I was in for two months came out with another 25, left them a cheery painting of beach huts, not the usual thing to find here on the Hebrides. Now feeling a lot bettter to be back home, Autumn is creeping upon us and the dried thistles are out again. Mine attached called Fantasy thistlehead. May go back for another visit to the Cuillins in October. We have had a hottish summer.
