Betty & Max xxx

Hi Patsy we have been really busy of late visiting mum & having her little dog to look after, also we have had one of our grandcildren staying witth us on a weeks holiday she is 12 years old. Betty had two steroid injections one in her shoulder & one in her knee but the knee is still painful. Max is having physio on his legs to strenghten his muscles.......Mum has improved the doctors didn't think she would pull through but she proved them wrong once more. Hope you are feeling a lot better now. LOL Betty & Max xxx

Hi Max & Betty, hope things are improving for you. My hip trouble isn't. I had a steroid injection yesterday but I don't think it's going to work. Seeing a consultant on the 17th. so keeping my fingers crossed. I just put a picture of the silver plant on the blog and the gallery for you to see it now. Bought a new camera and just had to try it out. Best of wishes to you both and my prayers include your Mum.

Hi Max and Betty just a quick drop by to see how you both are...hope all is OK LOL Patsy XXX

Hi Max and Betty hope you are both feeling better and that your shoulder is improving Betty...years ago I had a very bad neck that wouldn't go away I could hardly turn my head...being a nurse I'm not a great believer in alternative medicine but mu Mum suggested acupuncture...I tried it and it was wonderful I have never had a neck as bad since...I don't know how it works but the Dr. said I was very sensitive to it so maybe I was lucky...hope Mum is OK and you two arn't rushing around too much LOL Patsy XXX

Max, Sorry to read about the bad time you are going through. Hope your wife gets better pretty quickly. A bad shoulder can take a jolly long time to recover ! (thank you for your kind comments in my gallery) take care XX to both of you.

Hi Max and Betty thanks for your thoughts...this pneumonia has really laid me low and although I'm feeling much better I still feel as if I'm not in the real world...did some painting last night against my better judgement and yes overdid the greens...a real bugbear of mine...when I think of it I'm trying to paint landscapes but have never actually studied them before...when I went to night school in the 80's it was all class work...and life drawing...so I thing that's why I struggle...on holiday from class at the moment start back on the 27th July and I'm looking forward to it...so sorry about your arm Betty very painful...hope the Dr has some answers for you...I use my left hand a lot because of Carpel Tunnel but I was left handed as a child and they made me write with my right hand...it's worth the practice and being able to use both comes in handy...we all went down like a ton of bricks in out house but this time they had to look after themselves because I was too ill...sorry about Mum it so often happens after an older person has an unfortunate accident...it must be hard for you both making the journey when you aren't feeling so well yourself...I'm trying to slow down but I find I expect to do the same things in the same time as I did twenty years ago but it dosn't work that way does it...thinking of you both and hope all works out for you health wise LOL Patsy XXX

Hello Thea, have sent you an e-mail with all the news & our e-mail address attatched. Take care, Betty & Max

Hello Max and Betty, I am sorry but I have somehow deleted your email address by mistake. Perhaps you can email me again and then I will get it again. Sorry to hear about Betty not being so well and it is tough with Mum being still in hospital. I do hope things improve soon. It is hard to get inspiration when there is so much going on. I have desert patches and then it all starts flowing again. Thank you so much for all the comments you made on my gallery yesterday - it must have taken ages - so I appreciate all the feedback very much. I was ill a couple of weeks ago with a horrible gastric flu bug which made me feel ill for over a week. Then Lucy went down with it, followed by Emma. I think we caught it of little Noah. Lucy is now nearly 30 weeks and although she is very tired and anaemic, it is all going ok. We are off to Norfolk again tonight. So if you have time to email, I can send a longer update of the news. Take care, Thea

Thank you Sylvia & Patsy for your kind words......will write again soon.........have to rest the arm as much as possible. Betty & Max
