I have decided after 36yrs to prove to myself that I can grasp a solid understanding of the academics of art and have enrolled on a BA (Hons) in Painting. I left school with no education and was successful with my chosen profession in the building trade, running my own business for several years. To that end I have never been really happy. I found art through ill health and have never looked back. I love to paint and draw and have taught myself through hard work and research of many different techniques. Finding my own style. I have been moderately successful and have sold one or two paintings and taking on commissions. I want to push myself further become a professional working artist with my own studio.
