I'm self-taught so far as oil painting and acrylics go. I like to combine my artwork with my own spirituality, right down to choice of colour, type of landscapes I paint etc. It might sound a bit weird, but to me, painting is a magickal act and something I am driven to do. Have seen quite a few other artists in the gallery who have a spiritual or esoteric influence in their work, gladens my heart to see such paintings. P.S. Since others had self-portraits in their blogs, thought I should add mine and get my best side!
