Did anyone see the Arena: Rolf Harris programme? I recorded it and watched it last night. It was coincidental in a as much as I had decided to go back to doing some fantasy art in the New Year and had been reading about various folklore and fairy tales, including Titania Queen of the fairies. I found it most interesting to view Rolf's method of working, how his painting evolved and he didn't worry too much about detail in the early stages. It is possible that he is underrated as an artist because his tv career makes him seem a less serious artist; however I am a fan or his art.
