I seem to have committed myself to writing an acrylic e-book as well as the oil painting e-book on which I'd previously embarked..... So, with many thanks again to all who have suggested what I need to cover in the oil e-book, could I now ask you to consider what you'd like covered in another on acrylics? I'd like to cover surfaces, preparation of same, colours and colour mixing, brushes and other implements; but I really need to know what the basic beginner most needs to know about acrylics. You've got a while to let me know, because the first e-book on oils is going to be hard enough.... even so, the sooner you can make suggestions, the better. I have thought about writing a third book on watercolour - two things stand in the way of that: one is the time it would take, and the other is that there are MANY better watercolourists on POL than I am; but if they don't do it, I might: now there's a threat..... Get in there, because otherwise the worst will crowd out the best.......
