Messing about, well playing actually when I was supposed to be tidying my studio. Well you can only do so much sorting, cleaning and chucking out before one starts to lose the will. So I thought I’d do a couple of studies of garlic, continuing on my ‘Combining Two Passions’ theme of food and painting. They are very different n’est pas? The one with the saucer is very lose with plenty of colour and interesting blooms. Whereas the other one has a more controlled feel about it, especially as I used my one hair brush. Only for those with a steady hand! I like both of them for different reasons. What do you think?
