Low tide with sunset

My first impression on seeing the thumbnail was that 'looks like a Turner sunset'. A quick check took me to the Fighting Temeraire. Having read your commentary, all I can say is mission accomplished, you hit the nail right on the head.

Yes I agree Turners wonderful sky.I thnk if the house on the left side was less defined it would even more turnereske.

Mudeford quay, where we have the most spectacular sunsets. This one has been unashamedly borrowed from JMW Turner and the Fighting Temeraire. Trying to copy his sky just demonstrates to me just how good he really was.
