Anwesha Chakraborty

Biography

I have loved painting and ceramic work since childhood. I have always had a fascination for oil paints and love to do portraits and still life images. I have studied Fine Arts and Design in Sixth form College, but later did not get much chance to pursue it, as I went into the field of Biological Sciences. I have a Bachelors degree in Medical Sciences and a Masters in Medical Humanities. I have pursued art as more of a hobby during my time at university, but I am looking to focus on it more now. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, and I enjoy painting with them. I am looking forward to meeting all the talented artists here, to communicate with them and hopefully be able to display my work as well as learn from others.
