A new doctor looks sceptical about the death in the operating room. The time is 10 minutes past 12, signifying that 10 mins have passed since the patient died. The death is exaggerated by displaying the body like a mummy, wrapped up in white bandages. It’s a deliberate attempt to show how the trauma of death affects medical staff as they work their shifts, especially young trainees. I wanted to relate this to the Covid-19 pandemic, where death rate is soaring, and this eerily seems to be the present norm!
