Winner of July's The Artist 90th anniversary challenge announced
See the winning entrant in our July 90th anniversary painting challenge.
Carrie Flinte has been selected as the winning artist in July's The Artist 90th anniversary challenge for her acrylic painting, African Beauty, see below.
Each month we are inviting entries on a theme inspired by a key event of 1931, the year which saw the launch of the magazine.
In July 1931 the Trans African railway came in to use and we invited you to paint or draw an African scene.
We loved Carrie's bold statement piece, packed with the vibrant colours of Africa.
African Beauty, acrylic.
Congratulations to Carrie, who wins a £50 voucher to spend on Search Press books.
All winning entries will also be featured in a 2022 issue of The Artist.
