Thankyou all for your encouraging remarks. This view of the bridge is the one rarely seen by visitors to Ross but preferred by artists. The foreground deciduous tree is a town favourite.

Watercolour this time viewing the bridge from the north. I'm also trialing the varnish and buffed wax finishing method to avoid framing behind glass as I'm not going to be able to frame 200 works for my Ross Bicentennial exhibition.

I'm an 83 year old retired surgeon . Art has been my lifelong obsession away from work and now my main focus in life together with woodwork. I enjoy creating and making in any medium but have always gravitated to drawing and watercolour. I've also had limited training in etching and sculpture.
