Good one David but if you don't mind me saying so I think the figure in the bottom left hand corner doesn't work?

I agree with Heather. This is a lovely painting of an interesting old building, very nicely captured, but the figure does look odd!

I love the details on the old building but agree with the others, you don’t need the added figure.

Thanks for your helpful comments everyone. I agree that the figure is a distraction. It was interesting to hear that it bothered some of you as much as it annoyed me. Actually it was two women . The closer is the back of one woman's head . Anyway I have since blurred the face and toned it down which helps a bit.
