Thankyou Heather,Carole and David - I was working on this in February before leaving on what was to be a brief trip to Tasmania ! I thought it was unfinished but some family liked it so much I decided to call it done. I’m enjoying exploring all your works here in lockdown.

This 5x8" watercolour started as a sketch while sitting out on my deck at home on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. It makes me a little nostalgic as we are locked down in Tasmania about 3000 km away presently and for at least until the end of our winter.

I'm an 81 year old retired surgeon . Art has been my lifelong obsession away from work and now my main focus in life together with woodwork. I enjoy creating and making in any medium but have always gravitated to drawing and watercolour. I've also had limited training in etching and sculpture.
