For this painting I used graphite , Gansai Tambi Graphite Colors , and some Carbon Ink. There is also a little gouache white . This is the first of a series of small paintings that will go to family and friends in 2024.

I'm an 81 year old retired surgeon . Art has been my lifelong obsession away from work and now my main focus in life together with woodwork. I enjoy creating and making in any medium but have always gravitated to drawing and watercolour. I've also had limited training in etching and sculpture.
