A Blast from the Past by David Bleakley

Plough on and finish it, but photograph it at every stage so you can see where you liked it, and if you go wrong, you have a benchmark to return to. Great drawing btw.

Good thinking Andrew.

Great composition. Needs a outing and good finish.🐎🏆

This is very good (even as is). You really understand equine anatomy and should go bgack to painting them in my view.

Horses are so difficult, but you have managed to capture the essence of them in this very good drawing.

One of my favourites too. Well structured horses David.

Great picture of a difficult subject, carry on with it David.

Thankyou everyone - looks like I will be painting horses !

This was commenced years ago when horses were my favorite subject. Every now and then I glance at it and wonder is it worth attempting completion. It's on a fairly small smoothly gessoed board. Any criticisms or advice . I think fear of failure struck when I abandoned it all those years ago.
