Beautiful pen and ink drawing. I hope you feel better soon, bronchitis is horrible.

Thanks Jacky - yes it is a bit miserable. Just looked through your gallery - lots to like.

Lots of splendid work and mark making in this. Hope you feel better soon.

This is super David, what a master of line drawing you are.

This is a wonderful pen and ink drawing. Hope you feel better soon David.

Love these pen and ink drawings, David.

It is excellent and so small too, I really like your mark making

You have managed to create lovely textures with your pen David; so effective. Get well soon.

Super work.

Great love it. Have you seen Henry Moore's sheep drawings. He leaves them white and scribbles around the edges. Hope you get rid of that bronchitis. No better remedy than drawing or painting.

Wonderful drawing, David and I sympathise with the cough. I’ve just got over Covid.

David I hope you recover soon, a excellent way to pass the time and it’s beautifully done.

Thank you all again - youIrener comments are giving me a great boost. Val- Irene , thanks for directing me to Henry Moore's sheep.I always admired his sculpture from way back but never knew he sketched sheep. There are sheep everywhere here and very similar to his! It confounds me how difficult it is to draw them and make them look like proper sheep! They seem so simple yet almost as difficult as getting a likeness in a human portrait. The slightest error makes such a difference. I wonder how sketching them fed into his sculpture.

Lovely sheep beautifully drawn. Another sheep artist is Keith Bowen The Snowdon Shepherd , worth a Google .

David I love your drawing style! Your varying marks breathe life in to the subject……this is fabulous.

Love this drawing, so good.

A lovely drawing David, lots of detail

I'm a great admirer of Henry Moore's sheep too! Particularly enjoyed drawing and painting sheep ever since receiving a copy as a gift! This drawing is an absolute cracker!

Same pen , same ink 5x8" again , same paper - about 8 hours work. I guess I'm doing these because I have bronchitis and its a rainy cool bleak week so sitting in front of the wood burning fire place is my lot and its a chance to practice inking with no need for more than fountain pen , pencil and paper.
