That's really interesting. Good result. When you say instinct, does that mean you applied paint without doing a drawing to begin with?

Thanks both Sarah’s - Yes I literally went in with sky and land vaguely following colours that were there - changed the scenery about then sat the trees on top and sort of made it up as I went along- used a lot of palette knife - but no drawing

Ive joined a weekly Plein air group and we are encouraged to break out of our routine way of painting…. I painted purely by instinct… I’m not sure about this, it’s scary but somehow liberating-and fun!
