Lovely piece Christine

I've already done the ironing Christine so I can play for the rest of the afternoon. In fact I've got a couple of these cooking at the moment....trying a bit of layering, could be a disaster. Love your birds, used to great effect here.

I've just finished the washing up and my lady love is fast asleep so better wake her up - we've also got some ironing waiting. Another gem Christine.

Well we had a bee mania first, now the dendritics :) still, that's a splendid composition, Christine.

This style really lends itself the the delicate tracery of foliage. A beautiful design.

This is really lovely Christine! What kind of paper do you use? I tried ordinary printing one as Fiona suggested but it got stuck on glass. My paint is probably too thick, have to dilute it next time.

This is fabulous, Christine! The addition of the bird is brilliant - it just ties the entire painting together.

Thank you everyone for your comments. Satu, for this one I did use printer paper as Fiona had suggested and it worked well. I also used Golden Fluid Acrylic paint including Iridescent Copper which gave it a bit of sparkle! I've used Khadi paper too and that's worked well after a few wasted attempts! I think getting the paint to the right consistency is the key.
