Willie, I’m disappointed, why didn’t you pop in for a cup of tea?! I know this place very well, lots of sketching possibilities in Gatehouse, the Mill being one that stands out. As does your sketch, lovely tonal work and I especially like the way you have treated the foliage on the trees, delicately suggested as I would think the canopy would be quite thick higher up.
