Splendid evocation of the scene and well composed. I really like the wet tracks - I can almost feel the mud clinging to my boots.

Particularly like that foreground path and gate entrance whilst the colour range carries it's own appeal as well.

Great composition Willie, I particularly like that dark mass of woodland which sets the tonal values nicely.

A very natural, realistic scene, beautifully painted Willie. I used to love walking in the Pennines and this painting evokes some very happy memories.
