Cougars are not found in the part of Canada where I live but they definitely are found in other areas, especially in the Rocky Mountain sections of the country. There is something majestic about these animals that I find appealing especially now as they and other wilderness animals such as the grizzly bear are finding their habitat diminishing year by year as human activity incessantly encroaches into their once private domain.
