The gentle soothing sound of water trickling over a streambed or sprinkling from a fountain has the wonderful effect of a healing balm on the human spirit. In this painting of a water feature my hope was to convey something of how closely we humans are tied to nature and how such an elemental component as water can bring comfort and peace to the human soul.
